Ms. Nhem Rinin was born in Chroy Chre Village, Sambour Commune, Lovea Em District, Kandal Province, and now resides in Veal Leu Village, Samrong Commune, Phnom Kravanh District, Pursat Province. She is 47 years old and has dropped out of ninth grade. Her family consists of three members: her husband and
her 21-year-old son, who is presently pursuing his studies in Phnom Penh. Her family is a farmer with other jobs that include tailoring and chicken raising. She is a member of the Agriculture Group, which is supported by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme.
